On Monday, October 23, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. in room 0.06, the first Jerzy Pniewski and Leopold Infeld Colloquium of this academic year will be held. The Colloquium will have a solemn character, with a lecture entitled:

"Andrzej Kajetan Wróblewski - facts and memories"

that will be delivered by Professor Stefan Pokorski from the Faculty of Physics at the University of Warsaw.

Professor Andrzej Kajetan Wróblewski does not need to be introduced to anyone - a researcher in the field of elementary particles,
historian and popularizer of science, collector, and full professor at the University of Warsaw for more than half a century. In 1986-1989, he was Dean of the Faculty of Physics at the University of Warsaw, and in 1989-1993, Rector of the University of Warsaw.
The upcoming Colloquium will be an opportunity to celebrate together his 90th birthday.

11:00 Welcome and wishes
11:10 Lecture by Prof. Stefan Pokorski "Andrzej Kajetan Wróblewski - facts and memories".
11:45 ...and the memories continue
12:45 Jointly sung "Happy Birthday"; refreshments

This time the language of the Colloquium will be Polish.
