Commercial Access to Research Infrastructure

Regulations on the Commercial Use of Research Infrastructure of the Faculty of Physics, University of Warsaw

Dated 29 May 2025

  1. These regulations define the principles for the commercial use of research infrastructure available at the Faculty of Physics, University of Warsaw.
  2. The list of equipment available for commercial use is provided in Annex No. 1. The list is subject to change. The current list will be published on the website of the Faculty of Physics, University of Warsaw.
  3. The use of infrastructure by external entities is based on a bilateral agreement.
  4. The Dean of the Faculty of Physics may grant permission for the use of selected infrastructure based on an order.
  5. The Dean of the Faculty of Physics designates a person responsible for the implementation of the agreement and supervision of its execution.
  6. The use of research infrastructure at the Faculty of Physics is generally subject to a fee. The final service price is calculated based on the specific request and unit prices listed in the price list attached as Annex No. 2 to these regulations. The price list is subject to change. The current version of the price list will be published on the website of the Faculty of Physics, University of Warsaw.
  7. In special and justified cases, the Dean of the Faculty of Physics may decide to waive or reduce the fees.
  8. The commercial use of equipment by persons who are not employees of the Faculty of Physics is only allowed after completing occupational health and safety (OHS) training and workplace training

(*) Net price includes a 20% UW surcharge in accordance with the UW Rector's regulation. The price indicated in EUR will be converted into PLN based on the exchange rate on the day of contract signing.
