The VisPEP 2024 Conference (4th International Symposium on Visual Physiology, Environment, and Perception) will take place from 15 to 17 March 2024 at the Faculty of Physics, University of Warsaw. The event is a joint project of scientists from the European countries Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, and Poland, aiming to raise the profile and promote the achievements of visual science in our region. The Symposium also aims to promote cooperation and communication between specialists in optometry, contactology, ophthalmic optics, and ophthalmology. Previous editions of the event were held in Riga, Vilnius, and Tallinn.

The main topics of the symposium are:

• Clinical research in optometry (clinical cases, diagnosis, and treatment);
• Visual physiology (accommodation, binocular and monocular eye movements, pupil physiology);
• Environment (lighting, visual fatigue, visual stimulus technology);
• Visual perception (visual attention, color perception, spatial vision).
   

Confirmed lecturers include Prof Bruce Evans (Institute of Optometry, London, UK), Prof Rigmor Baraas (University of South-Eastern, Norway), Dr Krzysztof Petelczyc (Warsaw University of Technology) and Prof Julie-Anne Little (Ulster University, UK).

Participants involved in various fields of vision science are invited to attend the conference. Registration for the conference is now open.
