Shadowband radiometer (MFR-7) is an instrument for passive measuring of the direct, diffuse and total solar radiation fluxes in 6 narrow spectral bands (415, 500, 615, 673, 870, 940 nm) and one broadband channel. Based on the direct radiation intensity, the aerosol optical thickness and the water vapour content in the vertical column of the atmosphere are estimated.
