ABSTRACT SUBMISSION

Deadline for abstract submission:   30 April, 2001
Abstracts of all the papers scheduled will be printed in the conference Book of Abstracts, which all participants will receive at the registration desk.

We accept only abstracts submitted electronically (eosam@if.uj.edu.pl).

Abstracts submitted after the submission deadline will not be accepted.

The author(s) of an abstract submitted for publication and published in the Book of Abstracts agree to exclusively transfer the due copyright to the publisher.

The abstracts should include the title, the names and affiliations of all the authors (including e-mail addresses) and should be of approximate length of 250 words of text.
Plain text is the preferred electronic format for submission. However, if necessary, the abstracts may contain simple equations, figures, tables and a list of references.

For more complicated documents, the authors are asked to prepare a camera-ready document, according to the following instructions. The preferred format is the rich text format (rtf), or the MS Word document (doc).

Abstracts should be prepared for printing on A4 paper (210x297 mm) with the top and bottom margins set to 5.5cm and the left and right margins set to 4.0 cm. The abstract should fit in a single page, or in two pages at the most .

The whole text should be written with the Roman font, such as Tms New Roman, with single spacing.

The title should be centered, and written with 16pt bold typeface. In the rest of the document, a 10pt typeface should always be used.

The full names of the authors should be centered and written with 10pt bold typeface below the title.

The authors affiliations, including e-mail addresses, should be centered and written with ordinary 10pt typeface.

The body text should be justified and written with 10pt ordinary typeface.

Equations should be centered and numbered in round parentheses on the right-hand side. Figures should be numbered and labeled at the bottom and tables should be numbered in Arabic numerals and labeled at the top. A single blank line should be left before and after every equation, figure and table.

References should be numbered consecutively as they are cited in the text and listed after the text. In the list of references, the following information should be given: author’s name and initials, title of the journal, journal volume, year of issue, and page.
